This morning the alarm went off at 4:20 am and my mind played head games with me. You don’t need to get up and treadmill, just do it tomorrow. I laid there and I thought “God gave me two legs to run on, get up and run”. I got up, got on the treadmill, completed two miles and wanted to quit. Then I thought about all of the Boston Marathon runners that trained for the race and how so many of them were laying in a hospital bed with their severe injuries from some terrible act by another human and the people that lost their lives. I kept running to complete the last 1.1 mile and I reflected back to Sunday when Bryon and I did the local 5k and how everyone was cheering everyone on. Fast or slow it didn’t matter, we were all doing it! So this post goes out to all of the runners out there and especially to all of those involved in the terrible tragedy that happened at the Boston Marathon. Prayers go out to all of you!
