Saturday morning started out pretty good, I went for a trot in our neighborhood, like only the second time ever in the 14 years we’ve lived here. I’m more of a treadmill runner. The whole time I was running I was afraid I would get creamed by a car and I was certain that my neighbors were sipping their morning coffee, sitting at their kitchen tables judging the heck out of me. Oh yeah, I’m the one at 7:30 am jogging, not you neighbors. So there!
Me after the jog. Thank the good Lord for huge sunglasses!!
After we ate breakfast and got cleaned up, we headed to the playground store. We decided to take the plunge and buy a playground and have it installed. Not the $6000, but more than I ever thought I would spend on a swing set.
The future home of the swing set. I’m pretty certain it’s going to be an eyesore, but I know the Birdie will love it!
The Bird was so excited to play at the playground store!
As we were leaving Birdie said her tummy was growling. Unfortunately we figured out quickly that she doesn’t understand the difference between growling and upset. The poor baby’s eyes were glassy and she was very warm. We spent the rest of the day hanging low at home while the Bird rested.
Sunday the Birdie woke up good as new. Thank goodness! Must’ve been a weird little bug she had. At least her fever was gone and her appetite was back.
We went a got Dziadza a little ‘just because’ gift and delivered it. A Fitbit Flex.
