Staycation was pretty cool

I resisted the urge to book a trip to Disney for the five days we were off so we stuck around the area and had some fun.

Tuesday was our last day of work for the week. Bry’s parents came over to celebrate his birthday a little early.

Our first day off was Bry’s birthday so we started our day with a 2 mile jog on the trail.

After out jog, we came home and Birdie and I gave Bryon his birthday presents. A couple pairs of running shorts and Apple AirPods. I think the gifts were a hit.

In the afternoon we went to visit my parents followed by a game of mini golf.

Bryon and I tied for first!

We ended the evening with dinner at a BBQ place sitting outside. It was a great day!

Thursday we laid low and went to the pool. As you can see it wasn’t crowded at all. Not always like this on the weekends!

We went to DiBella’s for dinner because it’s our new favorite sub shop lately.

Friday Birdie had the urge to act like a monkey so Bry and she went to the canopy tour. They did awesome!

Relaxing before heading back home.

Saturday was our local beef roast and although I hate the sandwiches we go to listen to the Polkas (fun fact, the polka band that plays at the beef roast played at our wedding for an hour because I wanted some Polish elements at our wedding).

Birdie goes solely to try to get to the top of the rope ladder.

My dad joined us and we all made a little money at the gambling booth.

Sunday morning started out with a treadmill session followed by chores and getting ready to head back to work tomorrow. Booo!

Have a good week!
